George Clooney: More Oscars on the Way?

Salt and pepper is a great combination for a lot of things: scrambled eggs, a homemade salad dressing, the ever-famous salt and pepper french fry dip. Do you know what I love salt and pepper most on? George Clooney’s head.  He seems to have grayed a bit recently, which strangely only makes him more deliciously attractive, or for all you dudes out there, “a good lookin’ guy.”  Sorry french fries, the Cloonster has officially stolen my heart. “Why” you ask? This is why.

Clooney stars in a film coming in December called “The Descendants” where he plays a father of two living in Hawaii who struggles to parent his daughters while his wife is in the hospital after an accident. His eldest daughter, played by Shailene Woodley (Secret Life of the American Teenager), drops a bomb on him that changes his outlook on his marriage and his life, and ultimately forces him to make some life-altering decisions for the whole family.

Looks like another Oscar contender for Clooney!  Hey, if I were 50 years old, an extraordinarily talented actor, and looked that good, I’d probably take full advantage of it as well. My only concern for the film, given it’s setting, is if he spends it donning a hibiscus print button-up (which is only appropriate… um… never), but I have faith that the good people of the Hollywood costuming departments will deliver. With George as a blank canvas, the results are bound to be dazzling. “The Descendants” hits theaters December 16th.
