The secrecy of Steven Spielberg and J.J. Abrams new film, Super 8, has been shattered with the release of the movie’s trailer. This highly anticipated movie is set to premiere in the US on June 10, followed by release to the UK on August 5.

The story takes in a small Ohio town during the summer of 1979. A group of friends witness a devastating train crash while making a super 8 movie. They begin to question the incident and suspect that it might not have been an accident after all. Because of this, indescribable events begin to happen and mysterious disappearances occur.

The movie is written and directed by J.J. Abrams, and stars Elle Fannining, AJ Michalka and Kyle Chandler.
