So after a couple of days off, we’ve gotten back in to the swing of things. We arrived in North Carolina and met up with the amazing Carter Hulsey. I have to be honest and say that I really did not know what to expect with this show. We had only played NC a handful of times and really were just hoping for the best. Needless today the show more than exceeded our expectations. Carter’s set was flawless. Anyone who hasn’t checked him out yet is really doing a dis-service to themselves. The show is finally starting to feel more comfortable for all us. We weren’t sure how it was going to work playing as many songs as we have for this tour. It all feels new which is exciting but equally as frightening. Thankfully we have fans that support us in the way that they do. They’re are truly incredible. There was one particular fan that stood out that night and as you can see by the picture. That was definitely a surprise for all of us. I never thought I would see the day when people would actually tattoo our lyrics on themselves. Its a bit surreal. I always remembered seeing friends of mine with their favorite artist’s tattooed on themselves but to actually be on the receiving end of that was totally different. Anyhoot, we’re off to Baltimore for a lovely little show at the Ottobar. Hoping to catch some crabs with my bare hands. I don’t think there’s any better way to catch crabs than with you hands….I might want to re-think that line…ummm…so…
