GUESS DEBUTS 30th ANNIVERSARY CAMPAIGN VIDEO FEATURING CLAUDIA SCHIFFER
April 5, 2012 — GUESS is pleased to celebrate 30 years of iconic ad campaigns with the debut of the 30th Anniversary advertising campaign video featuring former GUESS model, Claudia Schiffer.
The video was developed under the creative direction of Paul Marciano, CEO and Creative Director of GUESS? Inc., and directed and shot by photographer and longtime GUESS collaborator, Ellen von Unwerth. Paul and Ellen partnered in 1989 for Claudia’s first GUESS campaign and the three have now reunited for the print and video campaign to celebrate this special milestone for the brand.
The video was shot on location in Sorrento, Italy and showcases the limited edition items that make up the GUESS 30th anniversary capsule collection. The collection draws inspiration from iconic pieces featured in archival GUESS images, updating them with a modern twist.
