AMC premiered The Killing‘s second season finale (and presumably series finale) last night at 9 p.m. EST.  Even if you weren’t an avid follower of the series, chances are you’ve probably heard the tagline, “Who killed Rosie Larson?”  And last night, after 26 days (in Killing-time) the case was finally solved.

Pause, and rewind a month or two earlier (in real time): I was sitting on the phone, interviewing Jamie Anne Allman for the cover story of the latest issue of Cliché, and I jokingly concluded the interview with, “Who killed Rosie Larson?”  At first there was hesitation, and then Allman claimed that she did know, but she rather not say.

Now, resume last night, and imagine my shock when I saw that Terry Marek (Jamie Anne Allman’s character) was Rosie Larson’s killer all along.  I couldn’t help but laugh at the irony as Allman’s character unknowingly drowned her niece by driving into the lake.  Irony aside, the scene was actually incredibly riveting, and Allman delivered arguably some of the best acting on television this year.

You can read the entire interview with The Killing‘s Jamie Anne Allman by downloading our June/July issue here on MagCloud.  Allman and I discuss The Killing, The Notebook and what it was like to work with Ryan Gosling.
