Rihanna smells like heaven — and she has the testimonials to prove it. The singer shared a montage of celebrities gushing over her smell amid the launch of her new Fenty perfume.
Rihanna smells good — and she has the receipts to back this up! A day after she announced the launch of her Fenty Beauty perfume, the business mogul, 33, followed up with a hilarious video montage on Monday, Aug. 9 of celebrities gushing over her “heavenly” scent, one that has been likened to “dreams and wishes coming true.”
The testimonials come from pretty convincing public figures, including Lil Nas X, Jennifer Lawrence, and Jim Parsons, among others. Rihanna interspersed the video with screenshots of Instagram comments and tweets that reinforce the notion that she smells like heaven on earth. She captioned the post, “just sayin’”
In the clip, Lil Nas X responds with “Rihanna” when asked, “What’s your favorite smell?” Elsewhere, Jennifer gushes about the singer’s “really soft skin” and said she “smelled really good.” Jim, on the other hand, gushed about the “Desperado” singer’s scent while on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and simply responded with “heaven” when asked about her scent.
RiRi announced the launch of Fenty Beauty’s first perfume on her Instagram on Sunday. She shared the news alongside a visual that depicted her among nature. “We’re fucked up most of the time,” she narrates in the visual. “And it’s not because we want to be that way. It’s because we’re dealt the hand — and guess what?
Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty Show Vol. 2: Cara, Normani, Demi & More
Rihanna is getting out of the high fashion world—for now, at least.
The “Work” singer, who launched the Fenty fashion house with French luxury group LVMH in 2019, is now hitting the brakes. Per a statement from LVMH to The New York Times, Rihanna and the luxury group, which also owns Louis Vuitton, Dior and Celine, decided together to put the endeavor on hold “pending better conditions.”
This means that while the Fenty fashion house has no plans to release collections at this moment, they are not shutting down completely and may return to high-end couture down the line.
The news doesn’t come completely out of nowhere. As NYT reported, Jean-Jacques Guiony, LVMH chief financial officer, shared that Fenty was still a “work in progress” during an October 2020 call about the group’s earnings.
“On Fenty fashion, we are obviously still in a launching phase and we have to figure out exactly what is the right offer. It’s not something that is easy. We were starting entirely from scratch,” he said. “Obviously, we have the great help from Rihanna on this, but I would say it’s still a work in progress when it comes to really defining what the offer will be.”

The two singer’s started out merely as friends in the mid-2000s before their platonic relationship blossomed into a romance. The couple’s romantic partnership was further scrutinized in February 2009, when Chris physically assaulted Rihanna following an argument that escalated into a physical altercation.
By June 2009, Chris pleaded guilty to a felony assault months after images of Rihanna’s beaten face surfaed. He was ordered to serve community labor, five years probation and submit to domestic violence counseling. Four years after the assault, Rihanna and Chris got back together in early 2013. By May 2013, however, the two went their separate ways.
Both Chris and Rihanna have spoken in detail about their relationship in the past, a romance that has become a pivotal point in Rihanna’s personal life and practically redefined Chris’s career trajectory. Rihanna, notably, opened up to Oprah Winfrey, about their romance in 2012. “We love each other and we probably always will.
Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty Show Vol. 2: Cara, Normani, Demi & More
Rihanna‘s the only girl in the world who could pull off this look.
In the middle of quarantine, the music superstar stepped out for a rare dinner outing on Nov.17. As the 32-year-old headed to celebrity hot-spot Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, Calif., photographers spotted her with a brand-new hairstyle. Oh yes, ladies and gentlemen: Rihanna is rocking a mullet!
The singer arrived at the empty restaurant around midnight local time sporting a comfortable graphic t-shirt featuring a marijuana leaf logo. She completed her look with printed green and white pants, white heels and sunglasses.
Rihanna’s hairstylist Yusef was also there to enjoy the late-night meal with his close friend. However, he has yet to share any details about his client’s latest hair transformation.
Back in October, Rihanna teamed up with Amazon Prime Video to release her Savage x Fenty Show Vol. 2. The designer praised the show as having “extreme levels of inclusivity” including looks for her male fans.
Fashion aside, Rihanna is just one of the many celebrities to debut a new hairstyle during quarantine. We compiled just some of the many transformations in our gallery below.
While stepping out for a late-night dinner with her celebrity hairstylist, the Grammy winner sports a new mullet.
The singer had celebrity hairstylist César DeLeön Ramîrez dye her hair a cool blue just in time for winter.
Rihanna looked fierce and absolutely amazing in a new skin-baring photo shoot that promoted a sexy neon-colored lace lingerie set from her popular Savage X Fenty line.
Rihanna, 32, was sensually glowing in her latest photo shoot for Savage X Fenty! The singer showed off her incredible curves when she modeled a new neon green lingerie set in some promo pics on her lingerie line’s official website and also gave a fierce look to the camera. The set is being sold in the Lovelace Extra VIP Box and includes a lacy bra and matching panties with a circular section to accentuate the behind. Check out Rihanna’s pics HERE!
Rihanna let her long wavy brunette locks down for the shoot and stood in various poses that revealed a lot of skin with a plunging neckline and a bare backside. Little bows could be seen on the stylish set and the “Stay” crooner’s tattoos peeked out from underneath the barely-there sections, including those under her chest area and on her hip.
Rihanna’s latest impressive Savage X Fenty lingerie pics come two years after the beauty launched the successful lingerie line in 2018. In addition to lingerie, she sells a clothing line and a male-up line that’s equally as popular and many fellow celebrities have showed support for the company, including Megan Thee Stallion, 25, who recently became a Savage X Fenty partner.
The rapper is a part of the line’s 2020 summer campaign and she got major attention when she showed up on the brand’s Instagram page in her first pic modeling a yellow lingerie set that looked amazing on her on May 21. She was sitting on a wooden table in the pic,
Recently, Kim Kardashian revealed her weight: 119 pounds. Kendall Jenner and Khloé Kardashian both praised Kim for her body, commenting on how “skinny” she was. In lieu of this recent announcement, stars like Emmy Rossum and Stephanie Beatriz have expressed concerns for women who desire to weigh less than what, for their frame, is healthy. It is perhaps the concern, more so, for the many young fans who look to Kardashian—or other celebs—for examples.
Rihanna, Emmy Rossum and Stephanie Beatriz Talk About Body Issues and Positive Body Images for Women
Women of all ages struggle with eating disorders and body image issues, so the issue isn’t to be taken lightly. The fact that some celebs are willing to speak out is more than admirable. These are the things women should be looking to, no matter their age, for a healthy body image.

In response to Kim’s weight reveal, Emmy made her own public statement on her Instagram Story.
The only time I was 119 pounds is when I had MONO on a magazine shoot
and everyone was ‘freaking out over how good’ I looked. I had lost ten pounds and was gaunt and sick and felt faint … It totally messed with my head … You never know what someone is going through. If you’re having a tough time with body image, I promise you’re beautiful and this feeling will pass. Today is just a moment. Practice some self-care and reboot. Take a bath. Take a walk. Take a yoga class. Make a healthy nutritious meal and watch your favorite funny movie. Tomorrow is another day.
Stephanie Beatriz Also Posted Something on Her Instagram About Her Past Body Image Issues

Kim Kardashian saying what she weighs and her sisters complimenting her being so skinny is like eating my brain rn. There’s only one time in my life when I ever weighed 119 pounds. It was right in the middle of a terrible relationship, and intense eating disorder, and I thought that I could be thinner and look even better. Everyone kept complimenting me on how I looked, and I felt desperate to stay at that weight. It sucked.
Meanwhile, Rihanna Discusses Her Girl Crush Image and Her Own Body Confidence

Rihanna, known as a girl crush for many women, made it clear that she doesn’t want to sacrifice her curves while getting back in shape. She told British Vogue that she’s most likely a girl crush for being “thicc.”
I’m about to get back into the gym and stuff, and I hope I don’t lose my butt or my hips or all of my thighs. I’ll lose some but not all. And I think of my boobs like ‘Imma lose everything, everything goes! But, you know, it comes with a price. You want to have a butt, then you have a gut.
In her June 2018 Vogue interview, she told the magazine that women need to “laugh” at themselves and accept whatever shape their body is from one week to the next.
At Any Rate, Body Positivity is a Must
Despite the constant pressure to be thin, skinny or thick, women need to accept what their body type has to offer. It’s totally refreshing to hear about past struggles from women who have been there. Emmy Rossum, Stepanie Beatriz and Rhianna all have the right mindset. Accept yourself because you’re beautiful, no matter what your shape is from one month to the next. Don’t look to a number on a scale or a physically impossible image that you dream of accomplishing. Remember that many images these days are photoshopped, and every woman’s healthy weight is entirely different. That’s what makes us uniquely our own.
After a lot of anticipation, Rihanna released her Savage X Fenty Lingerie line, and honestly, there are mixed reviews.
After the artist received rave reviews following the release of her Fenty Beauty line, which featured an inclusive 40 shades, it felt fitting for Rihanna to release a lingerie line that had inclusive sizing. Rihanna is already a well-known icon in the fashion industry, so there were high expectations for this launch. Released on May 11, just four days after Rihanna co-hosted the Met Gala—a major fashion event that she has pretty much dominated—the Fenty line received mix reviews.
Rihanna herself has even been open on her own weight gain/loss and instead of shaming herself—like many spectators have—she has embraced her curves. “One day I can literally fit into something that is bodycon, and then the next day I need something oversized,” commented Rihanna when asked at her Fenty Puma AW17 launch about her weight. Rihanna has taken her own image and applied it to her new lingerie line. The Savage X Fenty line featured a variety of over 100 garments ranging from catsuits to garters, seven nude shades, and sizes going up to 44DDD in bras and 3XL in panties. As Rihanna herself tweeted: “Savages come in all shapes and sizes.” Having inclusive sizing is not just a footnote; it is a branding strategy and marketing opportunity. As more designers are using curvier and plus size models in runways shows, having inclusive sizing gives Rihanna’s brand a competitive advantage, while also making her even more admirable to the public.
However, many were disappointed with Rihanna’s range of sizing. The line started at a 32 waistband for bras, which caused many who have a more petite body type to be left out. There were also many who simply could not fit into a DDD cup, who were also left out. Many fans who were planning to shop an inclusive line were extremely disappointed upon finding out that their sizes were not available. Since receiving so much negative feedback, the line plans to introduce even more sizes.
Rihanna’s line encompassed not only her sexy and sassy personality, but also her embracement of her own body type. The line promoted body positivity and acceptance by featuring inclusive sizing… just not inclusive enough for all. The line has since begun advancement of sizes.
