Boston-based indie pop band Night Lights is bringing a new sound to this generation. With members from Japan, Mexico, Norway, and California, they have different musical backgrounds that come together to make a sound unlike any other. With all members coming from a spiritual background, Dag, Mau, Yusuke, and Jeff promote self-betterment in their music and encourage people to see the light in the darkness. From their debut EP Here We Come to their new EP Good Better Alright, out April 7, Night Lights is a name that will stand out.`

The much-anticipated album, Divide by Ed Sheeran, was finally released on March 3, 2017. Divide broke a Spotify record with a crazy number of streams within the first 24 hours. With 12 creatively different songs, Sheeran came back strong with this album. The singer-songwriter just recently announced his north American tour with this album that will start out in Kansas City on June 29, 2017.

Lady Gaga, as expected, brought the house down with her Super Bowl Halftime performance. They had to open the roof of the stadium to accommodate her crazy show! Gaga started the show with her own short rendition of “God Bless America” and “This Land is Your Land” and followed that with quoting the end of the Pledge of Allegiance. Then, suddenly Gaga leapt into the air and flew through the stadium onto a platform. We’d expect nothing less from Gaga who’s notorious for her theatrics.
London-based pop group The xx just released their new album on Jan. 13, 2016. Titled “I See You”, this album changes everything you think you knew about The xx. The group started “in a bedroom in south west London, after school, drinking too much Pepsi,” according to their Facebook page, and now they are on a European and North American tour and have released their third album. Looks like their bedroom got a whole lot bigger.
