Hair Trend: Don’t Cut the Front

by

Falling prey to the mundane takes a toll on your creative vibes and confidence, not to mention your hair. Think about the times you’ve fallen in love with your latest haircut. Didn’t it motivate you to take extra time and care to style your hair? We’re encouraging you as well as ourselves to stop dreaming of that day you sit in your hairstylist’s chair and tell them to “have at it!” (Just kidding!) We have an even better idea. Look no further than the talented TRESemmé Celebrity Brand Ambassador Chrissy Teigen, who recently showed off the latest spin on the lob, and the most slay-worthy hairstyle of this summer that can totally carry into fall! Think different, think effortless, think rebel: don’t cut the front.

For those of you who are interested in trying out this spectacular look, first have a chat with your go-to hairstylist, as you’re going to want someone who knows how to take into consideration your natural hair texture. This way, you can feel your best whether you decide to style your hair or leave it up to the hair gods. TRESemmé Stylist Jeanie Syfu gave us some tips of her own!

“Begin by washing hair using the TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Pre-Wash Conditioner and Shampoo to set the foundation for a voluminous look,” Syfu says.

“Apply TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Touchable Bounce Mousse to towel-dried hair and blow dry upside down, using fingers to shake and pull at the roots.”

Syfu continues, “When dry, wrap hair once or twice around a large barrel curling iron, leaving ends out to create natural movement. Let sections cool, then gently brush through to soften the waves.”

“Set the style by working TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Hairspray through lengths with fingers for a soft, touchable hold that lasts.”
