Must-Do Summer Manicures

Bright, bold colors, soft pastels, and modern nail designs are some of this season’s trendiest manicures. These are your must-do summer manicures. Whether you get your nails done at a local nail salon or do them yourself in the comfort of home, it’s safe to say that manicures have become this summer’s hottest accessory!

Bright and Bold
The brighter the color, the bolder the summer! Go for vibrant, neon colors that will make even the sun jealous. They go perfectly with sunkissed skin, adding an extra pop to your tan. You’ll be the center of attention at your tropical getaway, and being noticed is definitely what this nail color trend is all about.

A Soft Hue
If bright colors aren’t your thing, pastel nails is a more subtle trend. This past spring, we were swept away with the soft colors that looked oh-so-delicious. Luckily, they’re here to stay for the summer, and we’re happy to still have them. Try a mint green, peach sorbet, or an easy yellow that will bring that extra, soft touch to your outfit.

Aztec Detail
Aztec patterns are everywhere during the summer, so seeing it on nails isn’t a surprise at all. It’s a funky way to dress up your nails and have fun. Patience is a definite virtue with this trend, but you can always look at references to help if you’re trying this on your own. Not every Aztec print is the same, so don’t worry about it being perfect!

Color Block
The mix-and-match color combination trend has arrived in the nail department. Black and colored polishes are the main components of this trend. It’s a modern take that allows you to do different designs, while still being able to have a pop of color. You can even switch it up with the addition of other colors, just as long as you use the black polish for “blocking.”

Accessorize the Accessory
Add gems, studs, or nail adhesive items onto your nails to make them look fabulous and one-of-a-kind. You can be daring and decorate all of your nails or just use them as that extra touch to an accent nail. Both styles will steal everyone’s attention!
