Remembering Prince, Music and Fashion Icon

by

After it was announced Thursday afternoon that music icon Prince had passed away at 57, social media blew up and the world went into shock. There were tears. There were block parties hosted by Spike Lee. There was rage, and even disbelief. No matter what the emotion, the world agreed on one thing: the world has lost yet another legend.

The 7-time Grammy winner best known for his hits “When Doves Cry” and “Purple Rain” was adored for not only his music, but also his expressive fashion sense, and celebrities and fans around the world have since come together to share their favorite memories and moments of music’s genius megastar.

From Rolling Stone recapping 12 of Prince’s most controversial moments, to Prince telling Kim Kardashian to “get off [his] stage” and his recent cameo on New Girl (how unpredictable was that?), there has been a lot of reminiscing going on these past 24 hours—and we’re sure it will continue for a long, long time.

What are some of your favorite Prince moments and songs? Be sure to share them in the comments below!
