Tracy Morgan In Critical Condition After Multi-Vehicle Crash

Comedian Tracy Morgan is in critical condition  after a tragic multi-vehicle crash caused by truck driver Kevin Roper. The crash also resulted in the death of comedian James McNair, and a new development revealed that Roper shouldn’t have been on the road at all. The 35-year-old truck driver caused the tragic wreck by operating a vehicle “without having slept for a period in excess of 24 hours.” Roper, who is currently free on $50,000 bail, is expected to appear in a New Jersey courtroom Monday to face charges of vehicular homicide, assault and reckless driving. Although Morgan remains in critical condition, his rep says that the former 30 Rock star has been “been more responsive today, which is an incredibly encouraging sign.” Morgan sustained multiple injuries including a broken leg, a broken femur, a broken nose and several broken ribs. He is expected to remain hospitalized for several weeks. Morgan who is a father of four, has an excellent support system and is under the best care at Wood Johnson Hospital, his rep said. Fellow comics, countless celebrities, and fans have  offered messages of support, prayers, and lots of love via social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
