Heidi Klum Launches Swim Collection at Bloomingdales

A woman of many talents, it comes as no surprise that Heidi Klum is expanding her takeover in the design world as well. From supermodel to TV show host and everything in between, Klum is a leading lady in the fashion industry. Her new Heidi Klum Swim Collection is no different. The line features a wide variety of 48 styles and patterns, from bold prints to dainty lace for a more romantic look. The line is on the higher end, with tops going for $80-130 and swimsuit bottoms at $70-100.
One of Heidi Klum’s other well-known ventures is her role as host on Lifetime hit show Project Runway. Klum gave contestants the chance to compete to have their looks featured in the line and get their foot in the door as designers. Contestant Rik Villa won the challenge with his edgy geometric prints in a one piece suit and coverup. The bold prints and thigh-high slits in the coverup make it my personal favorite piece in the collection.

In September, the Heidi Klum Swim photo shoot was released featuring none other than the supermodel herself – who better to debut her swimsuit line? The shoot drew attention to the upcoming line with the anticipation for its release.

On Wednesday, November 2, Klum hosted a cocktail party and shopping event at Bloomingdale’s in New York City to celebrate the launch of this first-ever collection. The launch also featured a VIP shopping event. Here, VIP clients were given the opportunity to meet Heidi Klum in person and be the first to shop the collection. As expected, the event was a major success, giving starstruck fans and shoppers the opportunity to meet the woman behind the cutting edge new swimsuit line.

Heidi Klum Swim is available at Bloomingdale’s stores nationwide, bloomingdales.com and HeidiKlumIntimates.com.
