Rebecca Minkoff’s Fall 2015 Collection rocked the runway during the current NYFW in fringe — both in the hair styling and fashionable products. If you’re a true lover of the fringe trend, as I myself am, you’re going to go gaga over seeing it in the latest Rebecca Minkoff Collection. Fringe, you have been thoroughly missed!
This year’s collection was an epitome of Patti Smith’s memoir “Just Kids” — showcasing bohemian inspiration from New York from the late 60s to early 70s. Elements of the rock n’ roll epic era are seen within being inspired from Smith’s own personal style and other idols including Grace Slick, Jimi Hendrix, and Janis Joplin. Mix and matched prints, velvet, stud and fringe details, leather jackets and pants, chiffon dresses and more create a beautiful collection that all of us have to admit we want in our wardrobes.
The blunt bangs and tousled locks on the models who adorned this collection were created by Orlando Pita with the use of TRESemmé’s new 2015 products. Loving this style as much as we are? Style your own tousled locks with Pita’s tips below!
- Spray hair generously with TRESemmé Perfectly (un)Done Sea Salt Spray and blow dry gently scrunching hair to create an effortless, tousled texture.
- Apply TRESemmé Runway Max the Volume Root Lifting Cream to hair for additional body and lift.
- Add texture to bangs and throughout hair by creating bends with a flat iron, alternating the direction of the iron down the length of the hair.
- Spray hair with TRESemmé Perfectly Undone Brushable Hold Hairspray to finish the style.
We are absolutely loving this stylish take Rebecca Minkoff has embarked on. Are you? La Vie Boheme!
