Spring is a teaser of what the summer will bring. We can’t wait to ditch our winter gear for some shorts, sandals, and dresses. However, we do have to go through the gloomy April showers that bring the gorgeous May flowers. And what better way to keep dry than with the windproof and waterproof Jill Racer from the Nobis Spring 2014 Collection? The super cute and remarkably comfortable nylon jacket comes in purple, blue, black, and our personal favorite pop color, green, and is a perfect touch to a spring outfit on a breezy day or night.
Have you ever had to spend a blistering hot and rainy summer day outside? This is where a thin jacket like the Jill becomes a savior. The last thing you want to do is put on a heavy jacket, or worse, a plastic poncho. Another great thing about the Jill Racer is that since it’s so lightweight and thin, it can easily fit into a bag. With the weather getting warmer, we tend to forget that it gets cooler during the night. The Jill Racer can be wrapped up into a ball and placed inside a purse for a fashion/weather emergency.
The Jill Racer is a must-have piece for everyone’s closet. I paired mine with black skinny jeans, a white t-shirt, and combat boots for a day in Central Park. I prefer jackets with zippers than with buttons, and the Jill Racer features a two-way zipper. Let’s take these words of wisdom from the Nobis statement, “Embracing the conviction that trends may come and go, but style, function and quality, will remain forever timeless.” To get your hands on the Jill Racer jacket, check out www.nobis.ca.
