If you’re looking for a sexy red number that’s ideal for a fancy date and a night out, the Audrey Keyhole Ruffle Sleeve Dress is perfect for your V-Day. This elegantly short number will have people wondering where you spent a fortune for such a high-quality dress. The unlined, high round-neck bodycon dress with flirty, ruffled sleeves and an elongated keyhole cutout on the chest will make you the talk of any party — in the best way possible!

Woven Heart Frayed Stripe Poncho ($19.60, forever21.com)

If you’re looking for something a little less dressy, consider the Woven Heart Frayed Stripe Poncho from Forever 21. This soft, knit poncho features an open front, frayed trim, and multi-stripe pattern. It’s subtle yet vibrant burgundy color and handkerchief hem will look perfect when paired with ripped jeans or even a skater skirt. Trade in your dress and heels for this causal look and pair it with a simple shirt, some knee-high boots, and a long necklace. You’ll be turning heads all night with this simple yet classy style. This look is best for a long night out on the town.

Off-Shoulder Mini Dress with Trumpet Sleeve ($24, us.ASOS.com)

Our final must-have this Valentine’s Day follows the off-shoulder fashion trend that everyone is still buzzing about. This red, off-the-shoulder mini dress from ASOS features a flared-gone-chic sleeve design, flowy hem, and elastic strap around the shoulders for optimum control. Trade in the sexy, bodycon look for this more flirty and refined style for a casual date or for a more comfortable long night. Pair it with sandals or heels and a long lined poncho-style coat for walking outside, and you will absolutely look your best this February 14.

Don’t let high-end brands convince you that looking good has to come at a hefty price. There are several reliable brands with runway-style clothing that will keep you looking your best while saving tons!

Fall Tips to Follow From Fashion Designers

by

Fall is, questionably (in our eyes, undoubtedly), the most fashionable season of the year. Cooler weather brings layers, new textures, and rich colors out of hiding. Scarves reign supreme, leggings are now everyday wear, and peacoats make their seasonal debut. While some fall pieces stay trendy forever, autumn also brings fresh new designs to the runways—and into our closets. This year, it’s all about neutral tones, stripes, red, embroidery, and metallics. From streetwear to holiday soirees, designers Leanne Marshall, Dan Liu, and Laila Wazna have pieces for every occasion as the leaves start changing.

Leanne Marshall

Neutral Tones
Neutrals have been in season for a while now and they’re here to stay. Textured tops and dresses in nude and cream are a trendy addition to any fall wardrobe. Leanne Marshall’s looks hit the sweet spot, where trendy meets elegant. Her floor-length gowns are neutral yet showstopping, proving even neutrals can turn heads.

Stripes
Large, colorful prints and unique patterns are the name of the game this year. Traditional stripes will always be in vogue on the streets of Paris, but Leanne Marshall has set the bar for the classic pattern a bit higher. Large, colorful stripes and bold new patterns are all the rage. Whether you prefer leggings or skirts, be sure to have at least a few striped pieces in your wardrobe this fall.

Red Hot
The color of love, red, is going to be a hot choice for this season. From traditional coats, jumpsuits, or dresses, you will need to have this iconic color in your closet. Red is the perfect way to add a huge pop of color to an otherwise neutral fall wardrobe. Red accessories or statement pieces will keep your look fresh and exciting.

Embroidery and Metallics
Holiday parties are for drinking eggnog and sharing the joy of the holidays with your favorite coworkers…right? We all know the real thrill of a holiday party is the excuse to find a killer outfit to show off to those favorite coworkers. Embroidery and metallics are where it’s at this year, and Laila Wazna has you covered. A master of the art of details, her looks are elegant enough for any holiday extravaganza.

We all know that you don’t have to spend a fortune to look good or to have good quality. Milani’s Color Statement Lipsticks are a must in every girl’s lipstick collection. These babies will change your world as they have a light and creamy consistency with rich pigmentation and a wide color scheme. Well-loved and popular picks that will look stellar and on trend for this season are Best Red, the perfect go-to red; Rose Hip, a beautiful pink to get you feeling in the mood for spring’s beautiful weather, and Uptown Mauve, a gorgeous in-between of pink and fushia. With Milani’s smooth and long lasting formula, a lip liner is optional, but not a must.

The Perfect Red Lip

by

Most women shy away from wearing red, thinking it does not compliment their skin tone. Chances are high that they’ve tried a red that doesn’t match their complexion and decided they will not wear red again, under the belief that no shade of red is for them. Well, ladies, there is a shade of red that is right for you. It’s all about opting for the correct red! First, you need to determine what your undertone is. You do this is by turning your wrists over, so your palms are facing upwards. If you see blue veins, you have a pink undertone, so you have a light complexion. If you green veins, you have a yellow undertone, which means you have an olive/medium complexion. If you have both blue and green veins, then you have both, yellow and pink undertones, which means your complexion is light/medium. Read on for a hopeful little guide to determine the right hues for your skin tone. BY STACEY CAMACHO

Light Skin
If you have a pink undertone to your complexion, then your complexion is considered to be cool. Therefore, deep reds like wine, burgundy, rosewood, cranberry, carmine, and maroon would best suit your skin tone.

Light/Medium Skin
Lucky you—you can wear all hues of red! If you feel like enhancing the cool undertone of your complexion, then opt for a deep red. Otherwise, smear on a true, bright red to show off that warm skin tone of yours.

Medium Skin
I hope you like bright reds, as they are the perfect hue for you! Bright reds such as scarlet, electric crimson, Spanish red, ruby red, and Ferrari red are your match. There is also an option of true red, which would look fabulous on you. True red is a red that has the perfect balance of blue and orange undertones, so it isn’t too bright or too dark and is just right, such as ruby.

Dark Skin
If you have dark skin, then deep reds will be your friend, as will true red lipstick; it totally compliments you. Pair the red lips with clean eye makeup, or with smoky eyes for that ultra-glam look.
