Fashion month continues to rage on and while the AW14 designs streaming off the runways are exciting us at Cliche Mag, we have had enough of the winter weather for the moment. Spring trends are on the mind and with the promise of warmer weather a few months away, we are eagerly composing the perfect spring wardrobe. These 5 essential spring trends straight from NYFW are bound to give you sartorial inspiration to take on the season.

Sugar Rush

           The color palette for this season is reminiscent of all things sweet. Blush pink hit a high note AW13 season and this season the pastel craze has returned with a variety of colors to choose from. Minty green, lavender, and baby blue are a few of the candy colored hues sweeping the runway and these soft tones add a feminine twist to your wardrobe. Whether you choose to wear pastels from head to toe, or by an incorporating an item into your outfit, you are set to take on spring’s politest trend.

           Designers took an artistic dive this season with splashes of color and graphic prints that would make Andy Warhol smile. The catwalks were overflowing with designs that could grace the halls of the most esteemed museums. In contrast to the demure pastels, the pop art trend allows for bold statement-making ensembles.

The classic menswear dress shirt has been reinvented this season to give a fresh approach to a wardrobe staple. Cut out details, vibrant prints, and textured accents all work together to spice up the button down.
