How far is too far to catch a picture of or even a selfie with your favorite celebrity?
Well, one bus driver took her chance to bask in the moment with her favorite comedian and the Kevin Hart fan gets suspended after snapping a selfie while on the clock.
During her rounds for National Rental Cars in Los Angeles, Ganesha Douglas, stopped her bus when she spotted comedian Kevin Hart. Starstruck, Douglas got out and managed to snap a selfie with Hart, apologized to her passengers and went on about her way.
Seems harmless? Well, National Rental Cars was less than thrilled about the actions of the driver and Douglas tells Inside Edition that she’s been “suspended indefinitely, without pay” and her union rep says “she will probably be fired.”
Was the selfie worth it? When asked if she regretted the incident she replied, “Now, I do.”
Hart is known for continuously showing love to his fans on his social media sites and interacting with them and when this story broke he did not shy away in the shadows. Hart took to social media and posted a video asking National Rental Cars to “give [Douglas] a pass” because, in his words, “If I would have seen me, I would have taken a selfie with me too,” and begs them “to have some compassion.”

Whatever happens now is in the hands of the company, but does Douglas deserve to lose her job for the incident or are the repercussions for her actions too harsh?
